Evening Beauty Regime
Many of us can start to slack when we are tired with our evening beauty regimes. But always remember that keeping up the momentum and staying dedicated to your regime could have long lasting benefits to your skin. Moisturising is the main task which many of us are guilty for neglecting. Think of your skin without moisturiser as your lips in the winter without lip balm. Dry and cracked is not how you want your skin to look so make sure you moisturise on a daily basis. One of the best times is after a shower, and it doesn’t have to be a chore. Treat yourself to a luxurious moisturiser with a great scent this Christmas ready for the New Year.
Wardrobe Update
Are there items in your wardrobe that you haven’t worn for years and can’t seem to part with because ‘maybe’ you will wear it again? The well-known rule is that if you haven’t worn it for a year, chances are you are very unlikely to wear it again. So take all those items you are realistically never going to pull out again to the charity shop, so they can be worn as they should by others. A great tip if you are thinking ahead is to ask family and friends for store vouchers if they are stuck with what to buy you for Christmas. This way you can go shopping and buy the trends of the New Year without feeling guilty about the weight of your purse.
Look and Feel Younger
As time goes on, we can start to pick fault with characteristics about ourselves and most of the time we will try different creams and apparent ‘miracle treatments’ that don’t make too much difference. So why not start 2014 with a bit of a change and have a small procedure such as a neck lift or eyelid surgery. This could take years off you and improve your confidence if those wrinkles and lines have been weighing you down. This is not something to be taken lightly, however if you feel that looking younger would help you to feel more outgoing and be able to take back your life then it is bound to benefit you.
Try New Experiences
Are you often sat in front of the television on a week night thinking that you should be out with friends drinking wine and laughing about old times? Well then what are you waiting for? Get out there and take up a hobby such as a gym class or a society. This will allow you to broaden your circles and meet even more people. Zumba is a current craze that could be great to join in with and is a great way to lose weight at the same time.
Take Care of Your Body
Many people start a new diet and fitness regime during January and statistics prove that most of this has ended by March and people have gone back to their inactive hobbies. If you want to start a diet then do not be under the impression that you can live on fruit and vegetables, lose a stone in a week and not be hungry. Be realistic with your expectations and set goals you can achieve without causing yourself unnecessary misery.
