My outfit of the day has been inspired by a recent purchase from House of Fraser during their current brand event which ends at midnight tonight. The Cocoon dress by Pied A Terre reduced to just £47 has helped to ease the longing I had back in the summer for the Whistles Cocoon dress without sleeves and this winter, their structured dress with sleeves. I mean a girl deserves a little treat at this time of year doesn't she? Something has to ease the stress of shopping and present wrapping and sometimes only a little retail therapy will do!
A plain and simple dress can be dressed up easily with a statement necklace and sparkly clutch for party time or cocktails, but I know this will be a great option for our trip to Marbella next May for my daughters hen do, proving that a dress doesn't have to be black to become a wardrobe staple. I've teamed the dress with a pair of Dune heels very similar to a Hobbs pair that have been on my radar of late but at a much more purse friendly price.
