Being a mum is probably the most wonderful job I have ever had. It's not always easy no matter how old your kids get, from toddler tantrums to teenage angst and the fact that even when they go into their twenties, they don't really seem to change at all, the house is still treated like a hotel and we continue to wait on them hand and foot but what can you say, when all I want is for them to enjoy life, make the most of every opportunity, which doesn't really involve unloading the dishwasher I suppose. Their time for chores will come!
I have been a mum for a few months shy of twenty five years and I still burst with pride when I look at all four of them just as I did when they were very first handed to me. They are my life and I consider myself truly blessed even though I still had to do the ironing this morning!
