I have been thinking about tapping into a few of the trouser trends lately, patterned, harem, you name it, I've thought about it, then I stumbled across these lovely, lightweight tapered trousers in Wallis the other week and thought how great they would be for summer days and nights out so I promptly snapped them up!
These trousers have a part elasticated waist for comfort but still have a zip and fly fastening at the front, a tad more flattering than something that is pull on and quite gathered, which often adds bulk where you (certainly I) don't need it, so these seemed perfect.

Buying these trousers has made me think about how I need some brightly coloured shell tops or similar to wear with them, I'm thinking yellow, coral and cobalt, any excuse!
Can I just say that for those of you who email or comment about my perfect hair, it was super shit the day I wore these trousers and couldn't possibly be worn down. After a particularly hot day it didn't take long to realise that humidity is not my friend!
