Outerwear Series - Collarless Coats

Last week I wore my old Next camel coat on a quick trip to the supermarket, a gift from my God Daughter about 3 or 4 years ago. I was just over the moon to have a camel coat and didn't think a great deal about the fact it didn't have a collar, as the colour and flattering style of the coat were the most important factors. Thrown on over a fail safe formula that feels like my uniform, when I'm in a hurry just reach for jeans and a breton top.





I don't think I had ever had a collarless coat before and I was soon smitten by the simplicity of the style and wouldn't be adverse to having more in my wardrobe in a range of colours and prints, if that were at all possible.

I need a leopard print coat replaced and the Monki one featured below at just £35 would be a guilt free purchase in the run up to Christmas that would look fab over a LBD for festive nights out and I have fallen hook, line and sinker for the Phase Eight check one, visualising it with jeans and flat Chelsea boots as we speak.
