Now imagine the sheer joy when I was asked to review a pair of the heritage brands famous footwear, I was chomping at the bit and think I chose my boots in all of about two seconds (not that I had often perused their website or anything).
I knew I wanted black (classic, goes with everything) and felt that I should give the wider fit option a try as I loved the adjustable pair featured in the website's campaign photo's with the contrast panel at the back of the calf, which made my choice a no brainer. I was also pleased to see they offer slim leg versions as I know of as many women who struggle with this dilemma as I do those who need a wider fit.
I have to confess to being really surprised at just how comfortable they are and wonder if this is due to the heel as most Wellington boots I have worn over the years have been dead flat under foot. This unique selling point made me realise why the brand is loved and worn by so many, comfortable and stylish all weather footwear anyone? Yes please!
My daughters wouldn't be without their's come festival season, but in the meantime we still have snow in the South East, Pugs to walk along the beach and impending April showers, all of which lead me to believe my new footwear obsession will become a permanent fixture in my hallway!
