I have to confess I am always in awe of bloggers/friends etc when they manage to bag themselves a designer bargain at TK Maxx. I don't have a store near me and on the rare occasions that I go into London, hunting down one of their "gold label" designer selling stores never seems to make it onto my days agenda, usually because of time issues.
So you can imagine my delight when I was approached by TK Maxx and asked to review some pieces from their winter collection. I have never really spent much time on their website in the past, I was pleasantly surprised by what was on offer.
High end designer brands sit alongside well known high street labels, all at amazingly reduced prices and with a footwear addiction and two pairs of designer ankle designer ankle boots on my winter wishlist, this was my first search and it wasn't long before I came up trumps! I found my perfect style in black suede and know that these will become my "go to" footwear of choice this season.
Next up - jumpers and cardigans. I didn't buy hardly any knitwear last winter so started my search for a jumper and when I spotted a very stylish pink number, although I have had doubts in recent years about wearing this colour, I just couldn't resist, it is the colour of the season after all.
It is from the gold label collection (high end designers) and does come up rather snug but then I don't usually go for fitted knitwear shapes, nor could I afford such an item at full price but the attention to detail and quality of the item more than make up for the fact I will be happier losing a few pounds before I flaunt myself around in it, lets just hope the healthy eating plan in place before my daughters wedding next year, actually works because I can't wait to wear it!
Pink has featured heavily at London Fashion Week, so won't be a one season wonder, therefore I look forward to showing off this beauty without a jacket next spring as well.
With sought after stock selling out fast, the TK Maxx website will now become one I check out on a regular basis, I wouldn't want to miss out, I love a bargain!
