Winter Dresses At John Lewis

East Slash Neck Tunic Dress £69.

If ever there was an area of my wardrobe that needs addressing, its winter dresses.  I don't have any.  I usually spend all of autumn, winter and also spring, in Jeans. Of sorts.  Treggings and Jeggings feature pretty heavily too, but for somebody who spends the summer months in virtually nothing but dresses, why do I appear not to own any that are either trans-seasonal (summer dresses that work with tights and cardigans) or full on winter?

I love dresses in summer, they make dressing so easy, so I fail to understand why I have yet to adopt this simple fashion formula in colder months, after all, we all want effortless style all of the time and a simple dress that can be layered over a long sleeved top, worn with a scarf, cute ankle or longer length boots and opaques is sure to make a cold weather style statement.

I thought the best place to look for a dress would be my favourite department store, so I clicked through to the John Lewis dress department to see what they had to offer. With a huge range of labels plus their own brands, the choice is endless, which is why it is always one of my first online shopping destinations.

Jaeger Check Knitted Dress £140. Hobbs Pipher Dress £159. Fenn Wright Manson Katia Dress £130. Warehouse Navy Cocoon Dress £42. John Lewis Capsule Collection Marl Cable Knit Dress £59.

Party season is also fast approaching so don't forget to check John Lewis out for your cocktail options, there are so many gorgeous dresses to choose from!

Do you wear lots of dresses in winter or do you wear jeans far to often?
