Getting Hotter

Shawbury Boots £85 In Black, Tan Or Grey.

I wish. In fact I find it hard to believe I was still wearing sandals and bare legs last week although there was a cloudy day when I took my new Chelsea Boots from Hotter out to crunch a few autumn leaves on the shortcut to the village.

A Chelsea Boot was a definite gap in my winter footwear that I was desperate to fill but I also knew that I wanted quite a flat pair (I have a few pairs of ankle boots with a bit of a heel) and also wanted a zip fastening as I seem to struggle with a pull on pair I already own.

Hotter is a brand made in Britain with a factory based in the North West of England and although they intend to stick with the classic styles much beloved of their older customer demographic, they always have an injection of trend led designs to satisfy the needs of a slightly younger market looking for fashionable but classic styles with the comfort factor you always find with Hotter Shoes.

The other thing I love about Hotter is the price point for such amazing quality, which you would find hard to match eleswhere on the High Street.

Some other Hotter styles I'm loving this season include the full length Hampshire Boot in Taupe(above). Those with wider calves who struggle to get full length boots to fit will love this adjustable pair with their long zip to make getting them on a little bit easier. Another footwear gap for me I quite fancy a full length boot with a block heel. £129 also in black and brown.

A classic riding boot is a winter style staple and the Justina boots boast of buttery soft leather and a comfort insole for £149. Also available in dark brown.

Faux Fur is everywhere this season so if you are looking to tap into the trend without looking like a Yeti, then accessories are the way to go. The Hampshire boots are available in stone, black and brown and will ensure your ankles are kept nice and toasty when temperatures plummet. £79.

I wore my Chelsea boots out again today in the rain and their non slip sole was a complete godsend, I remember stacking it in Poundland last year on a rainy day and do not wish to repeat the experience!

Are Chelsea boots on your winter wishlist?
