Lucinda Wrap Cape From Monsoon

I think everybody will agree that the weather has been weird this autumn. It has been so mild down here in the South East for the time of year that some transeasonal knitwear has been the order of the day. Pieces that aren't too heavy and can be worn now but layered up when temperatures drop has been the way to go and most certainly influenced my choices when picking items to review from Monsoon for their Winter Warmers series.

Lucinda Wrap Cape £59.

Capes are a huge trend this season and feeling a need to add some black knitwear to my winter wardrobe meant that choosing the Lucinda Wrap Cape was a bit of a now brainer as it would be the perfect piece to layering over shirts and long sleeve t-shirts now but perfect for adding an extra stylish layer to either light weight or chunkier knits depending on the weather.

I had planned to do this review last week when I wore my new cape for a day out in London but sadly it rained all day and I got drenched, so took the opportunity to wear it out again to a lunch meeting yesterday where I also pinched my daughters handbag for a few hours ssh don't tell her!

The Lucinda Wrap Cape also comes in nude and I look forward to layering this piece over lots of different outfits. I love the website image with bare arms although I doubt I'd be that brave but love how it shows this really is a piece of knitwear to take you through winter and way beyond.

What knitwear pieces are on your radar this season?
