I'm not gonna lie, I did get rather over excited when the Boden Christmas Wishlist Catalogue arrived. Seriously guys, they had me at "embellishment" and there is copious amounts of that on offer ensuring you are set to sparkle throughout the festive season. Boden are offering a diminishing discount this week which sees 25% off until Thursday, so if you haven't bought your Christmas party pieces yet, I'd start thinking about cranking up the glam factor pretty pronto if I were you.
The fact that the sequin cable knit jumper is £279 actually makes me want to cry. I love it so much but it is so totally out of my price range but boy what a beauty it is.

The Boden Jewelled Pump might be hailed as this seasons most instagrammed shoe and I am proud to say I assisted in that little social media shoe statistic, but there are plenty of other sparkly shoes including the Spectacular Heel which is a heeled version of the Jewelled Pump but with less jewels for those that think they may be a little to much and the Mary Janes which come in a black glitter or gold metallic finish.

If your not particularly a fan of all things sparkly and are looking to dress up a pair of jeans or faux leather trousers for a more informal get together, you really can't go wrong with lace and I would be more than happy to cook the turkey wearing this little number which I know would become a wardrobe staple for nights out once the festivities are long gone. Already sold out in my size in black (bum, s@@t, sod it) which just goes to show you can't wait for the things you love to go on sale, sometimes you just have to get what you want while you can and pray they sell out before they get reduced! Sometimes fashion is like, so annoying. I am going to check back every day in hope that there is a fat bird out there who hates and returns it!

Sequin Shimmer Tunic Dress £199 before discount.
There is no getting away from it, my overweight apple shape adores a tunic shape dress, you only have to look at how much wear I get out of my Cos one from S/S 13 which has been worn to numerous occasions, is so comfortable and extremely flattering I was naturally drawn to this opulent little number, which again, could be worn to all manner of events, even a winter wedding. Oh and did I mention it has sleeves so is a complete win win party frock in my opinion, plus it looks gorgeous styled with the Spectacular Heel if you are going for all out glamour.
