shirts, tops, a black bag and anything wintery. Jeans must be skinny, preferably a more expensive brand that will last longer than the Tesco/New Look ones I end up buying loads of."

So that was the brief I was given by a reader. 34 years old and a size 8/10. I love choosing clothes for younger little people, but I have also taken the opportunity to add in some extra pieces and to encompass the floral trend with the jumper and the sweatshirt trend with a funky piece on sale from Jaeger. Both can be layered over a classic white shirt to give an extra dimension to the look. The designer jeans at a high street price have been fulfilled courtesy of The Outnet and I have chosen a suede effect bag which doesn't scream "cheap" as much as a PVC bag.  The faux leather trousers are a steal from Asos and will work for both day with tan wedge ankle boots and evening with the orange court shoes and leopard silk shirt. All the tops work with all the bottoms and the footwear can be mixed and matched to either dress up or dress down the outfits depending on the occasion.
