Ivory Bell Sleeve Top

After the inclusion of a Mint Velvet piece (the fur trimmed hooded parka) in a previous post, I have yet another gem from their autumn and winter collection.  It is not necessarily a piece you would think of for a winter wishlist but it is something you could wear every season, so a worthy investment and at £69, wow it is an investment, I mean seriously when did a simple top get so expensive? The good news is, the top is now in the sale, the bad news, my size is now sold out - gah!
Oh well I love it anyway, it's the sleeves that have done it, reminds me of the pink Roksanda Illinic dress from last year and this is probably the closest I shall get! Was £69 now £35 here.

I've been desperate to try out a gel nail polish since they first hit the beauty shelves.  A new nail colour designed to mimic the traditional gel polish systems that  need curing using a lamp, like Shellac, Jessica Geleration, Gelish etc.  A gel nail polish is longer wearing and has a high shine finish but without the hassle of removing, these polishes remove like a normal nail polish.  I tried the  Gel Effect Nail Polish from Layla  Cosmetics from HQ Hair in No.2, Pinky Doll.  To test I applied this without a base or top coat as it was a pale colour I knew it wouldn't stain my nails.  Classed as a semi permanent nail colour, bright and glossy with amazing filling power to leave nails looking smooth and healthy (great for us mature ladies who's nails are starting to have ridges) and I have to say I was impressed.  It's a great colour for busy mums or working girls short on time who want something that isn't going to chip easily, but will leave you with a clean and polished looking manicure which lasted me a week before I removed it.  I would definitely recommend this range and would love to try out some of their other colours.  I only used one coat, two would of course intensify the colour. I now have an exclusive discount code for Layla cosmetics for readers of Style At Every Age,

I was lucky enough to win a blogger competition, a fabulous print of a pair of classic Louboutins by cocostylefile.  I have followed this amazing ladies artwork since she started out with Chanel perfume bottles closely followed by Chanel nail polishes and now these amazing red soled beauties.  You can check out her lifestyle blog here and her artwork here.  Who wouldn't be pleased with one of these in their Christmas stocking?

Show me a decent magazine freebie and I'm running to the village newsagent before you can say "Jimmy Choo" and this months Instyle was a must have at only £2 with a free Ren set consisting of cleanser, moisturiser and eye cream.  I have had one of these before and they make great travel companions for weekends away.

What are you loving this week?
